Do you feel grateful every single day of your life?

by Bob Walsh

I still remember the day when I first heard about Tony Robbins.

It was my boss, back then, who handed me his already-read copy of Unlimited Power.

That was the book which got me on track to read about NLP (neurolinguistic programming) and hypnosis.

And today I received a message from him which I wanted to share with you:

Think of something you enjoy or experience today that was once merely a goal. Many obstacles may have intervened in your pursuit of its attainment, yet now it’s part of your life. As you follow your new dreams and encounter obstacles, remember: you’ve been through this before, and you’ve succeeded!

And when I read this, it put a big smile on my face, and almost a tear: one of the things that I wished for really badly and tried to make happen into my world many years ago now is an every-day reality in my life.

And when I think of that, it puts things in perspective again.

It reminds me what an amazing ride this journey we call life really is.

When we look up at the dark night sky and see all these stars shining brightly up there… we’ll probably never lose our sense of wonder about it. I hope we never will.

It’s a reminder for us every night how blessed we all are – despite all our little issues and problems and struggles. Or maybe not just despite, but because of them.

Remember to count your blessings.

And also your blessings in disguise.

Each of them is there to teach us something valuable and precious.

Life might not always be the way we want it to be.

But the universe really is a friendly place, like Albert Einstein said.

And if you don’t feel grateful every single day of your life…

… then maybe that’s something worth working on.

Open up your heart and let it fill with love and gratitude.
