Vicodin & hydrocone can be very easy ways to reduce pain. However, they can also carry a high risk of addiction, particularly the latter one. Essentially it’s an opiate, just like heroin, morphine, methadone, codeine or oxycodone. “Opiate” means that it’s a substance that is chemically similar to opium.
Some experts say that there is no legitimate need for a drug like this on the market, and that it might cause more harm than good.
So are there natural pain killer alternatives that don’t carry these risks of addiction?
Well, think about it: your brain and body are already capable of managing pain. All the neurological and biochemical mechanisms required to regulate pain are already in there.
We usually do not have conscious control over these mechanisms, but this is something that you can train and learn to master. Millions of people have already done so. Maybe you have seen people who do things that would usually cause a tremendous amount of pain, but they do it with a relaxed kind of ease that’s just stunning. These people aren’t freaks of nature – most of them have trained themselves to control the sensation of pain, and to be able to use the power of their mind to “switch off the pain”.
There are many ways to do this – yogic practice, many years of meditation and so on.
But one of the fastest ways to be able to control and reduce pain is to utilize the power of your subconscious mind. Hypnosis is the ideal gateway for that: you can simply take some time for yourself to relax, make yourself comfortable and listen to a hypnotic induction for pain relief in the privacy of your own home. Do this daily before you go to sleep, and there is a very high probability that you will notice that you feel less and less pain.
